From the Festival to the Fairgrounds - Traditional Attire with Character
Following the success of their first joint collection, Krüger Dirndl and TREAM are continuing their collaboration and presenting a new line that translates musical stories into modern traditional attire. Inspired by the themes, emotions, and symbols from TREAM’s universe, the designs blend tradition with the spirit of the times. From the initial sketch to the signature details, the focus was on reinterpreting traditional attire in an authentic, bold way with an unmistakable style. Whether it’s a dirndl, lederhosen, or a vest - each piece tells its own story and combines high-quality craftsmanship with a modern design language.
Three Stories, Three Dirndls
Each dirndl draws on its own chapter from the world of TREAM and interprets it in its own unique way. The “Hasenjagd” (Rabbit Hunt) design combines traditional hunting elements with a feminine silhouette. A forest-green velvet bodice, harmonious tone-on-tone shades, and delicate embroidery on the apron sash lend the design a serene elegance. The look is complemented by a dirndl blouse made of large-patterned cotton lace with trendy balloon sleeves. “Koko Braun” introduces a warm, natural color palette to the collection. High-quality textured fabrics are paired with golden heart-shaped buttons, a handcrafted heart ruffle, and delicate embroidery that offers a modern take on traditional craftsmanship. The matching tulle blouse, featuring small deer antler motifs, subtly echoes the hunting theme and stylishly rounds out the look. “Para Siempre” adds a modern touch. The red winged dirndl deliberately forgoes the classic dirndl blouse and impresses with a clean silhouette, an elegant velvet bodice, and a monochromatic tone-on-tone look. A design that embraces current fashion trends while still preserving the traditional character of the folk costume.
Attention to Detail - Visible and Hidden
A hallmark of the entire collection is the numerous hidden details that make each piece special. Song titles, lyrics, and symbolic motifs are incorporated into delicate embroidery, inner linings, and select accessories. Sometimes subtly concealed, sometimes deliberately highlighted, they lend the designs a personal meaning and bring the connection to TREAM’s musical world to life in a unique way.
For a stylish top half: vests, shirts, and accessories
The men’s collection has also been consistently refined. The centerpiece is the “Hasenjagd” leather pants, which combine traditional embroidery with modern design elements. They are complemented by vests in warm brown and bold red, a high-quality shirt with delicate antler details, as well as a checkered neckerchief and a classic traditional wool hat. Due to high demand, the limited-edition “Lebenslang” leather pants are also making a comeback, building on the success of the first collection.
